Convention’s over… :(
At this convention, I notably:
- Received the Lois Dion Academics Award, a great and unexpected honor
- Participated in the creation of a very punny video
- Was elected to the IJCL state board
- Cried my eyes out on stage in front of hundreds of people as the seniors said their goodbyes
- Forgot what an Oreo was
- Built a pretty epic fort
- Rapped the Shamwow commercial
- Made some great new friends
- And generally had a wonderful time.
I’m so sad it’s over, but that only means that more Latin stuff is coming soon!
